Lukky vs SweepWidget: widget entries or comment draws

An embeddable entry widget with API-verified actions, against a draw from the comments on a post.

In short

SweepWidget is an embeddable entry widget: participants complete actions inside it, and SweepWidget verifies each one against the platform before counting it. It reads no comments. Lukky draws from the comments on an Instagram or Facebook post and certifies the result. Take SweepWidget for a multi-action campaign; take Lukky for a comment giveaway.

SweepWidget sells verification. Its strongest claim is that every action an entrant completes is checked against the platform it happened on before it counts as an entry — a genuine answer to fake entries that a comment draw has no equivalent for. It also never reads a comment, which is where the comparison with Lukky starts and mostly ends.

Two different definitions of a fair giveaway

For SweepWidget, fairness is about the entries: making sure the person who claimed to follow you actually followed you, and that the referral was real. The widget verifies actions through platform APIs before counting them.

For Lukky, fairness is about the draw: making sure that once entries exist, the winner really was picked at random from all of them, and that anyone can check. The certificate names the post, the date, the number of entries kept and the winner.

Neither definition is wrong, and a large campaign wants both. But if your giveaway is "comment to enter" on an Instagram post, SweepWidget has nothing to verify: the comments are already public and already attributable, and the question your audience will ask is about the draw, not the entries.

That is why the comment-limit row says SweepWidget does not do this. Entries arrive through the widget, so there is no comment thread to cap.

The prices, as published

SweepWidget shows a free plan and four paid tiers: Pro at $29 a month, Business at $59, Premium at $119, Enterprise at $249. Their pricing page states annual totals against each.

Lukky is €9.99 a month or €39.99 a year, with no entry limit and one free draw a week. The pricing page has the detail. The gap reflects scope again: SweepWidget sells a campaign platform with commerce integrations, Lukky sells a certified draw.

What SweepWidget does not publish

Two rows are marked not published, checked 28 August 2026: the full list of networks, and what proof of the draw an entrant is left with. Their pages describe the entry mechanics in detail and the outcome barely at all.

Who should take which

Take SweepWidget if entries come from many actions across many platforms, if referrals or purchases feed the entry count, or if verifying that actions really happened is the problem you have.

Take Lukky if entries are comments on a post, if you want the draw itself certified, and if you have no website to embed a widget on.

Lukky and SweepWidget, point by point

Every value is quoted as published, with the page it was read on and the day it was read. A criterion SweepWidget does not publish is marked as such rather than dropped from the table.

What SweepWidget does better

  • API-verified actions: an entry is checked against the platform before it counts, which a comment draw cannot do.
  • Bonus entries, referral entries and leaderboard competitions.
  • Entry integrations with commerce platforms, tying entries to purchases.
  • A free plan, and four paid tiers up to enterprise scale.

FAQ

Can SweepWidget draw from Instagram comments?
No. Entries are completed inside the embedded widget, not read from a post's comment thread.
Is SweepWidget free?
There is a free plan; the first paid tier is $29 a month. Checked 28 August 2026 on their pricing page.
Does SweepWidget certify the draw?
Their pages do not say. This table marks it not published rather than assuming either way.
Can you use both?
Yes. A brand running an acquisition campaign on its own site and comment giveaways on Instagram is using two different tools for two different jobs.
