Comment Picker is fast, broad and cheap. The organisers who leave it almost always leave at the same moment: the day somebody commented that the draw was rigged, and there was nothing to reply.
What goes wrong
No published proof. On Comment Picker's public pages, checked 28 August 2026, nothing describes a certificate or a result an entrant could open. You announce a name and your audience believes you or does not. On a giveaway that grows, it stops believing you.
The route in is not documented. Their Premium page details how many comments each tier reads, never by what means. A tool reading a public page does not see what an app connected through the official API sees, and sees nothing on a restricted account.
The annual price. $95.91 a year against €39.99 for Lukky. The monthly prices are nearly the same; the annual discount is where they separate.
What Lukky does instead
Lukky is a native app approved by Meta: official Instagram and Facebook sign-in, no password asked for, entries read through the official APIs. At the end of each draw a timestamped certificate names the post, the date, the number of entries kept and the winner. Your entrants check for themselves.
The free plan runs one draw a week; Pro at €9.99 a month lifts the limit, goes to 100 winners and draws across an Instagram and a Facebook post at once. The pricing page has it line by line.
What you give up
Five networks. Comment Picker covers Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X, Reddit and Bluesky. Lukky covers two. That is the heaviest loss and it is reason enough not to switch if your giveaways live elsewhere.
Fine filters. Filtering on comment text, date or like count: Comment Picker does it, Lukky does not. Lukky filters duplicates, excluded accounts and required mentions — what published rules usually promise, and no further.
The browser. Comment Picker runs in a tab; Lukky needs a phone. If you run giveaways from a desktop as part of a wider workflow — a spreadsheet of entries open beside the draw, a colleague watching the screen — moving to an app on a phone is a real change to how you work, and worth trying once on a small giveaway before committing to it.
How to move
There is nothing to transfer. Both tools read comments at draw time and keep no entrant list worth exporting. Install Lukky, connect the account through Meta's official authorisation, and the next giveaway is drawn from the app. Download any certificates you want to keep before closing your Comment Picker account.
The full comparison goes through all eight criteria, with prices and their check dates.
Lukky and Comment Picker, point by point
